How I got there
I travelled by Eurostar train from Venice on the 07/09/2001 for 51,500 Lira or €26.60 which took just under 3 hours.

Accomodation is not easy to get here, get there as early as possible. 
The HI hostel is outside the town which is a pain so I stayed in the very nice Archi Rossi, 
an indenpent hostel which is fantastically located close to bus and rail station.
