How I got there

I travelled by connecting coach from Treviso airport to Venice, cost 8,000 Lira or €4.13.
The journey took about 1 hour.

Price 30,000 Lira or €15.50 per night which included a very sparse breakfast.
Dinners are served if you want to eat there in the evening. 
Getting from the hostel to the city center involves taking a vaporetti(water bus)
because the hostel is on an island, this is a bit of a pain but it is nice and
quiet and beatiful to look across at venice when it gets dark.
